Second Thoughts Drama Group

Second Thoughts is a community-based drama group performing in and around Stratford upon Avon, Warwickshire, in the United Kingdom. Our President is David Bradley, best known for his role as Argus Filch in the Harry Potter films.

So what's it like, then?

Second Thoughts is successful because, over the years, we’ve managed to attract and hang onto some really great people. We asked some current members what they like about the group.

What do you value about ST?

“They are not afraid to  tackle non-box office plays which actors can get their teeth into. Loving the challenges, the closeness of the group, the openness of the forums and the  quality of the members.”

“The openness, the friendship I have gained, the fun and the hard work to make productions the best we can do.”

“Having wonderful people to work with. We've got loads of exciting talent, I value our democratic decision making process, and I share our production values.”

“Joining ST has been like coming to my theatrical home, which is why I've stayed 15 years.”

Any memorable  moments?

“Standing on the stage of the Swan Theatre as we took our curtain call.The sight and sound of the applause was wonderful - I  really understood how addictive that could be.”

“Watching helplessly as the cast skipped 6 pages during a performance of Abigail's Party.”
